Courtney Flynn is a certified elementary and certified special education teacher with a MA in Elementary Education from the University of Bridgeport and a MA in Special Education from Manhattanville College. She currently runs a private practice working with small groups of children coaching social skills. She works on fostering friendships, building empathy, listening skills and helping children to regulate their emotions. Courtney has completed training in The Professional Course on The Greenspan Floortime Approach, and continues to take seminars on the DIR / Floortime Approach. Courtney has also been trained as a Service Coordinator through Connecticut's Birth-to-Three System. Previously Courtney worked in the CT public school system teaching kindergarten and first grade before switching over to work with preschool aged children as a Developmental Therapist in CT's Birth-to-Three system.
